The transition from military to civilian life can be challenging. JUSA offers Spiritual Support and Counseling for Veterans.
JUSA also partners with local businesses to help veterans train and get back into the workforce.
We have recently launched the Veterans Family Assistance Fund to help Veterans and their families. The Veterans Families Assistance Fund provides financial support to servicemembers and their families as well as Veterans and their families when they experience financial hardship. If you know of a family that needs help please let us know.

In order for law enforcement officers to be sensitive to the religious customs and needs of the Jewish population, they need to be aware of the beliefs and customs relating to the everyday life in the Jewish community. Many times, miscommunication due to lack of knowledge on behalf of the law enforcement officers have led to uncomfortable situations and unnecessary stress which could easily be avoided.
This interactive workshop will give the officers an understanding of the needs of the Jewish population.

Challah for our heroes!
Before every Shabbos, women all over the world perform the mitzva of baking challah and reciting a special blessing. This is an opportune time for her to say a prayer, asking from Hashem for anything on her mind.
This week, Chani from JUSA recites a blessing and says a prayer for our brave men and women in uniform. May everyone stay safe while ensuring the safety of our community! The Challah will be delivered to our local heroes. If you, or someone you know, is man or woman in uniform, please let us know so we can drop off challah for Shabbos!
Message to first responders from JUSA Director Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum.
